Various Events by Relief India Trust

Since its formation, Relief India Trust has consistently served the society in a great way, helping the poor and needy to live a better and fulfilled life. They do this by supplying the needy with basic commodities such as food, medicines and many more. Besides these, the organization is also involved in organizing various extracurricular activities for the people from the slums and needy children in the streets. These activities are meant to bring happiness to the depressed and sad members of the society taking them out of devastation which troubles them all the time. Just imagine of children from poor families witnessing their fellow children from rich families celebrating their birthdays and involved in various activities; this in a way makes them more depressed and alienated from the society. In order to save this situation, Relief Trust India is here to help organize such events for the poor and less privileged so that they can also enjoy playing with other children from the neighbourhood.

The following are some of the events arranged by Relief India Trust for the social welfare of the society;

Tree planting competition

This is a great event organized in various parts of the country. It is a lot fun for the involved groups of people and above all a good means of conserving the environment for future generations. The event also helps boost the creative and aesthetic skills of the poor people in society. This is achieved through a perfect combination of colors in an artistic way while planting the trees and flowers.

Painting competitions

There are many children out there with drawing and painting skills, but because the skills have not been nurtured well, they soon go into waste. Relief India Trust understands this perfectly and thus organizes for regular painting competitions for children where the skilled children are selected and their skill nurtured to a professional level.

Short trips

Children from poor families have no chance of being taken for any trip. Street children from slums need to have a chance to explore nature, even if once in a while. That is why Relief India Trust organizes for such recreational trips to various places for enjoyment and equally informative purposes. This helps to get the children out of their depression as a result of neglect due to their social class in the society. Children learn a lot from such trips and for that reason enhancing their knowledge. Take for instance, taking such children for a short trip to the National Science Museum; there is a lot to learn for the children.

Birthday celebration

It is quite painful for children when they cannot afford to celebrate their own birthdays while their friends are. Such children usually become depressed and inferior in a way, which is not good for their development. 

Relief Trust India understands what these children are going through and for that reason organizes the celebrations for the children so that they can also experience the enthusiasm just like their friends from the rich families.
